Seattle Humane Celebrates PawPrints Society Members
Behind-the-scenes tours of Seattle Humane's new state-of-the-art shelter and veterinary teaching hospital. Visiting with adoptable pets waiting for their new families. A delicious catered vegetarian meal preceded by a wine and beer "yappy hour." Celebrating nearly $1.5 million in bequests and planned gifts to help Seattle Humane save lives for years to come.
What event could possibly include all of the above?
In late September, Seattle Humane held the 9th Annual PawPrints Planned Giving Society Celebration to thank its most generous donors for remembering the animals in their estate plans. The celebration was one of the first major events in our recently opened $30 million adoption center, shelter and embedded primary care veterinary hospital. Guests enjoyed special tours and heard from a panel of planned giving professionals about updating their estate plans, the advantages of using non-probate assets to support Seattle Humane, and how to make a gift to the animals with the IRA charitable rollover vehicle.
To thank PawPrints members for their incredible generosity, supporters are the first to learn about major updates at Seattle Humane, as well as offered special tours and opportunities to connect with other members of this exclusive community.
